Students will have many opportunities to work on real-world projects utilizing geospatial thinking, science, and applications. This training will enhance their ability to develop, perform, and execute geospatial tasks in small and large corporations, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies throughout the region, state, and country. This will provide students with the training necessary for entry-level geospatial jobs, and give a competitive edge to students applying for natural resource, planning, policy, and social service jobs.<\/p>\n<h4>Degree Roadmap<\/h4>\n<p>The program requires the completion of 32 credits, consisting of four required lower-division courses and four required upper-division courses. All courses taken for the certificate must be completed with a grade of C or better and a minimum 2.5 GPA.<\/p>\n<h4>Capstone<\/h4>\n<p>Certificate in Geospatial Science students pursue a wide range of majors including environmental science and policy, biology, business, economics, sociology and anthropology, political science, and criminal justice. Completion of a geospatial science certificate provides the technical and applied skills for students to successfully pursue a career in the variety of fields
