Some grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">File the FAFSA<\/a> (or <a href=\"https:\/\/oregonstudentaid.gov\/fafsa-orsaa.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ORSAA<\/a>) on or after October 1st for priority!<\/p>\n<h3>Federal Grant Programs<\/h3>\n<p><a class=\"grow-bro heavy-man\" href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/understand-aid\/types\/grants\/pell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federal Pell Grant<\/a><br \/>\nUp to $7,395 for 2025-26. Has a lifetime limit of 6 full years. Awarded based on need. Prorated awards may be available to part-time students.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/understand-aid\/types\/grants\/pell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federal Pell Grant<\/a> is available to eligible students, seeking an Associate&#8217;s or first Bachelor&#8217;s degree.<\/li>\n<li>Graduate students and students seeking an additional Bachelor&#8217;s degree are not eligible to receive the Federal Pell Grant.<\/li>\n<li>The Department of Education will communicate to all FAFSA applicants who are close or who have exceeded the lifetime limit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"grow-bro heavy-man\" href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/understand-aid\/types\/grants\/fseog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)<\/a><br \/>\nUp to $1,000. Limited funds, awarded only to high need students that are eligible for a Pell Grant.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"grow-bro heavy-man\" href=\"\/financial-aid\/aid-types\/grants\/teach-grant\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant<\/a><br \/>\nThe TEACH Grant provides up to $4,000* per year to students who agree to serve for four years as a highly-qualified teacher in certain high-need fields at a low-income school.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"grow-bro heavy-man\" href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/understand-aid\/types\/grants\/iraq-afghanistan-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant<\/a><br \/>\nAwarded to eligible undergraduate students whose parent or guardian was a member of the U.S. armed forces and died as a result of military service performed in Iraq or Afghanistan after the events of 9\/11.<\/p>\n<h3>State Grants<\/h3>\n<p><a class=\"grow-bro heavy-man\" href=\"https:\/\/oregonstudentaid.gov\/oregon-opportunity-grant.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oregon Opportunity Grant<\/a><br \/>\nMust be an Oregon resident attending an Oregon College. Award determinations are from the Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC). Awards can vary by year, 2024-2025 awards were up to $7,524. Must be an undergraduate student. Pro-rated awards are available for part-time students.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"grow-bro heavy-man\" href=\"https:\/\/oregonstudentaid.gov\/oregon-tribal-student.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oregon Tribal Student Grant<\/a><br \/>\nThe Oregon Tribal Student Grant is available to new and existing students.<\/p>\n<p class=\"heavy-man dig-4 pop-0\">Eligibility requirements are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"pop-4\">\n<li>Must be an enrolled member of an Oregon federally recognized tribe<\/li>\n<li>Enrolled or accepted for enrollment at an Oregon college or university<\/li>\n<li>Working towards earning first associate, bachelor\u2019s or graduate degree Funding is available for the 2024-2025 academic year for undergraduate and graduate students.
