encourages community service by providing jobs on campus and at nonprofit agencies in the community. Earnings from these jobs enable you to help pay for educational expenses but are paid to you in the form of a paycheck.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in work-study <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">file the FAFSA early<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Detailed information about the Work-Study hiring process is available through <a href=\"https:\/\/hrs.sou.edu\/working-at-sou\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Student Employment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Supervisors!!!\u00a0<\/strong>If you would like to re-hire a work study student for the next academic year or have a student you plan to hire but they do not have work study please submit our <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/qhpGPYd7icbGCA946\">Priority Work Study Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Â鶹´«Ã½ student job opportunities will no longer be hosted in Handshake. All new students jobs are posted in &#8220;Workday Production &#8211; Student Jobs.&#8221; From your Okta homepage, go to &#8220;Add Apps&#8221; and search for Student Jobs to find and add this app to your homepage.<\/p>\n<p>If you currently have a student job, you can use your Workday Production app and search &#8220;student jobs&#8221; or use the menu to navigate to Jobs Hub &gt; Student Jobs.
