Â鶹´«Ã½Â President Rick Bailey is committed to finding new ways to connect with students and maintaining a productive conversation about their academic needs and experiences, and this month marks another step in that direction with the introduction of his “Raider Up with President Rick” podcast.

The new podcast will tackle new topics each month, with the theme of each month’s episode driven by student input. Students can post in the questions sticker in Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s Instagram stories at @souashland, or can email questions to Â鶹´«Ã½ News. All submissions are expected to be relevant and respectful.

President Bailey said in the current, inaugural episode of the “Raider Up” podcast that he hopes for questions that may lead to high-level changes that he can make, as the university’s CEO, to improve student experiences. He also urged students to point out the things that Â鶹´«Ã½ does best, so that he and other Â鶹´«Ã½ leaders can “double down” on those efforts.

The “Raider Up with President Rick” podcast is moderated by Â鶹´«Ã½ Marketing and Communication student employee Nash Bennett. Listeners can find and subscribe to the podcast on ,Ìý and other platforms.
